Policy
Babysitters Club NOLA Transportation Policy We prioritize the safety and well-being of the children in our care. As part of our transportation policy, please note the following important guidelines: 1. Car Seats/Booster Seat Requirement: All parents MUST provide appropriate car seats or booster seats for their children who are under the age of 8. This is mandatory to ensure the safety of your child during transportation in a BSC sitter's vehicle. Safety is a shared responsibility between parents, sitters, and Babysitters Club NOLA. 2. Policy Acknowledgment: Before booking our services, parents MUST read the Policy page and complete the necessary Waivers to release their child for transportation. This ensures that all parties are informed and compliant with our guidelines. 3. Cancellation Policy: * If you wish to cancel your booking, a cancellation fee of $40 will be incurred. This fee is non-negotiable. * You can avoid the cancellation fee by rescheduling your booking to a date within the same week. If it is rescheduled for a different work week, a cancellation fee will be charged. * Changes to your scheduled time must occur at least 24 hours in advance. After this period, sitters will assist you according to the original scheduled times. * In cases of sickness or severe weather, the cancellation fee will be reduced to $20. * Failure to pay cancellation fees will result in the inability to use our services. 4. Payment Terms: * Service fees will be processed through your original payment method post-booking. * Payments are due upon booking confirmation. Late payments will incur fees, and sitters are not authorized to accept payments. * A late fee of $25 will be applied if parents are more than 20 minutes late for pick-up or drop-off. 5. Sitter Communication: Please be advised that all sitters are required to contact you within 30 minutes prior to your scheduled service time to provide an estimated time of arrival. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive the sitter's bio and photo to get acquainted with them before your scheduled time.
